…hopefully this will clear things up for you…
On our site there will be one of two categories of downloads…1) .mp3/.wmv/.wav files 2) .rar files
for .mp3/.wmv/.wav files: Ok, so you’ve peep’d the link to the song you want. You’ll want to start by clicking on the link (or hyperlink). The hyperlink you click on will take you to a host site that gives you the option to listen and/or download the track, which we’ve uploaded. Look for the word “download” on the site page and click on the word. Most sites will have a countdown on the page…so when the countdowns ends your link should appear. Click on the link and your download will begin. Specify where on your harddrive you want the file to go and the track is yours. Seems like alot, but it’s worth the work.
for .rar files: Now this process is slightly different… First thing you’ll need is an extractor program to unzip the file. Why is this necessary? Just imagine a big bag of Doritos. The Doritos represents an album. Each chip in the bag represents a track. It makes more sense to put all the chips in the bag of Doritos and sell it like that rather than to sell each chip separately. In fact, people might feel slighted if they had to buy each chip separately. Still don’t get it?…basically a zipped file is a collection of files. Each song is a file. You will need something to open the file carrying these other files. We recommend WINRAR. Winrar unzips most clustered file types and can be found here http://www.rarlab.com/. Once you download an .rar or .zip file you use winrar to unzip the file.
If you follow these steps then you should be able to grab all the music we post on this site. Thanks for kickin it with us…if you have any questions feel free to hit us on e-mail.
