do you know max robinson?
Max Robinson is the first man of color to both be a journalist and anchor the news at WRC in Washington & Chicago. As customary with pioneers and path-makers, they involuntarily carry the burden for their successors and rarely get to live to see the fruition of their heroism. He’s a very important person to log into your memory!
happy birthday frankie
Recently, I found myself laughing hard as hell inside of the Books-A-Million… This book is why. For those who know his stand-up, you will feel like your watching him from a stool at the bar. You can almost hear him talking about his “7 words you cant say on television” and his odd/ uncertain career as it goes from flicker to supreme lime-light…. listen as he delves into some of the crazy situations throughout the years, (Like him trying to get rid of his narcotics in the middle of an act while the police are backstage waiting to arrest him.. lmao.) Overall, you get a sweet, sarcastic, and lovable George… “We can only hope to be as cool as you, man. Rest in Power…”
Available everywhere books are seriously sold.
thanks, david letterman.

thanks, nikki giovanni.

…so, this thank you goes to none other than one of my heroes in the writing game, Ms. Nikki Giovanni…
..& if you know nothing about Nikki Giovanni, you need to learn A.S.A.P. Giovanni who is a world-renowed writer and outspoken activist for social change Continue reading ‘thanks, nikki giovanni.’
thanks, slick rick.
…This (wee-early) morning’s thank you goes out to none other than the person who is a pioneer of slick wordplay, storytelling, and delivery….
