where did that come from??? “good afternoon.”

So…    after listening to this a while back, I became stuck. The Cool Kids are one of my (Bee) favorite rap groups of all time cause they are constantly giving us gems to listen to and pretty much do this Hip-Hop *ish* a service with thier switch-hitter rhyme styles and tid-bits of knowledge they drop…   but this confused things for me and Prints. Listen for yourself and pay attention at about 1:36….

Now…   Me and Prints are wondering, “where did that come from?”  first Hov and Ross; now them???   we gotta know…

a few things happening in the district tonight…

One:  musician Moby is making an appearance at Bus Boys & Poets (14th & V NW) to promote vegetarianism, animal rights, and his book Gristle: From Factory Farms to Food Safety (co-written with Miyun Park).  FREE.  6:30.  be there.

Plus: DC Improv is hosting The District’s Funniest College Finals.  The event is a showcase of college comedians from the DMV (representatives of UMD, American, George Mason, and a few others).  These comedians are the best from their respective schools.  Doors open at 7, event at 8.  Tickets are $10 shekels of silver (or dollar bills if you have it).  Go and laugh until your stomach hurts.  Tell them we sent you.
