if you were into the old Freddy Kruger flicks, then you need to check this out.  In this flick the makers took more time in giving a background into the character Freddy Kruger.  Jackie Earle Haley a.k.a. Rorschach did a great job! 4/5

the little brother hoax.

You may have heard that the group we know as Little Brother is no more.  What really happened between these guys?  It’s unfortunate and sad.  We know they’ll continue to make music indivually, but as a group these guys were ill and had developed something of a devout following amongst true hip hop fans. 

To keep it all the way 100 with you, we feel like this group hasn’t done enough to make their last album their LAST collaborative ALBUM together in life… ever.  They had the potential and the allure to be legendary.  Now they’ll go down in the books as swindlers.  That’s right swindlers.  We still got love for 9th, Phonte and Pooh…but they let hip hop down.  They (Phonte & Pooh since we know 9th left somewhere around ’07/’08) seem as though they don’t even enjoy making music together or even really being in the same room for long.  Weird right? 

Many of you may not know, but the name Little Brother was a nod to groups who came before (i.e. Tribe, De La Soul, P.E.) as they felt as though they were the Big Brothers of rap and their entrance into the game after these guys made them little brothers.  Some of those afore mentioned groups, o.g.’s in the game, should have pulled these cats to the side and tried to get them to reconcile and see the big picture…their exit after only 4 projects leaves their fans feeling cheated…like we were hoaxed.
