something for the ladies…or men if this is ya kind of thing. Hailing from Canada and NYC, Naomi, Sarah, Lesley, and Binkie make up Electrik Red. The ladies signed with Def Jam recently. Def Jam is set to re-direct the face of popular music with the all-girl singing group. They are paired with Grammy Award-winning writing/production team The Dream and Tricky Stewart (Rihanna’s “Umbrella”), Electrik Red’s edgy brand of hip-hop and R&B exemplifies the future sound of music. Spotted over @ Kanye\’s site.

…This day is significant because one of the greatest rappers of all time, noted for his “loose, easy flow”, dark semi-autobiographical lyrics and storytelling abilities, was killed by an unknown assailant in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles. We’re talking about The Notorious B.I.G., Christopher Wallace. This post is dedicated to his memory. He still lives on through his music. Here’s an Aftm favorite sky\’s the limit featuring 112. R.I.P. B.I.G.
I peeped part 3 of this interview while browsing on RealtalkNY.
